NUTAN robust construction made of thick MS plates.
The cable tension is controlled through pneumatic cable closing cylinders.
The pressure regulation on each belt is independent and adjustable by manometer.
The belts are driven by an AC/DC motor with drive and coupled to a gearbox unit (two gear ratios) and one three-speed gearbox. The power transmission between the two belts is controlled by a gear belt which avoids any slippage. Caterpillar are equipped with a set of horizontal and vertical guide rollers at entry and exit.
